Glamazons: A race of tribal warrior women whose choice in garb and war paint resemble 80s fashion trends, with denim jackets over their tunics and leg warmers under their shin guards. Believed to have been created by an anomaly in the space time continuum (or a whiny kid in a life preserver, who can say), they are an offshoot of normal Amazons who have the same base set of super human abilities, but have lasted a lot longer, due to their more lax view on the opposite sex. Whereas regular Amazons view men as inferior second class citizens, Glamazons view them as sex objects. Not much better, but at least they weren't enslaved. Glamazons still speak like Amazons, as in, they speak Latin and semi-broken english, but they are also hip to current lingo... Circa 1985. Much like the name implies, they are tall and curvy. Their chietain, or Hyper-Lita, can be identified by having the largest, spikiest, most colorful hair do of the bunch. Also, in lieu of war drums, they use synthesizers and keytars.

Ryxor: Not so much a race, as a mutation of normal dragons. Ryxor are exposed to near lethal amounts of magic while still in the egg, and this gives them magical powers not seen in others of their species. Unfortunately, the process by which a Ryxorian is created also renders them impotent. Therefore, there is a large trade with the ryxor community for Dragon eggs to make more Ryxor. Other oddities are their relatively dimmunitive size. A typical ryxorian doesn't grow much larger than your average human. Their leader is Drake Iron-Horn, who is the only recorded draconic mage, being the resident shaman. He's also the only one who managed to grow to an exceptional size (approximately 10 feet tall, 20 with tail), but, this could be just because Crimson Iron Horn dragons are typically the size of skyrscrapers... Making him barely any bigger than a hatchling to them. They make their home in the ribcage of a fossilized Dragon skeleton that formed a massive cavern they call Draco's Pit. The place resembles a shanty town or a Brazilian slum, lit by large fires kept tindered by the dragons fire breath. The city is made purely out of sheet metal and salvaged wood. However, for what it lacks in style, it makes up for in both safety and trade. Draconia, as it's called, is technically a country unto itself and has no trade laws. So long as it doesn't involve anything the people would find disturbing, you can find anything in the Draconian Market District. And, due to the large population of fire breathing monsters, there's little crime. It also has one of the best mineral trades, since they expand the city by mining more rock out.

Vessels of Paragon: Paragon is a hive mind AI designed by an ancient alien civilization to be the perfect ruler. They wanted to give it compassion, sympathy, the ability to learn, and above all else, a good moral compass. Good news? The succeeded. Bad news? They succeeded. The computer was such a prudish bore, they wanted to destroy it. It's first decree was that it would ban their equivalent of tobacco and alcohol (which, as most of you know, is what a hard working individual like said scientists run on), calling them a "disturbing waste of time and resources that causes nothing but trouble.". But, rather than destroy it, they unveiled it as a peace offering to the galaxy. An automated defense system that would keep the peace on a galactic scale. The universe got an incorruptible symbol of justice, and the scientists got one Hell of a tax write off. Paragon opperates by sending probes to planets it deems in need of help, where it will take in as much of the local culture as possible to learn the language (once you've discovered the secret to giving a machine a soul, linguistic decoding becomes a snap). The probe then builds an Android in the image of what the civilization finds "attractive". All paragon vessels are the same paragon, connected through the central computer. When one paragon learns something, they all know it, no matter how many light years apart they may be (again... They gave it the ability to discern right and wrong, the rest of this stuff is child's play). For example, Earth's Paragon, designated E1307, arrived in the late nineties, during the boy band craze, and chose an image reflecting this. His outward visage is that of a tanned, fit, Caucasian male of average height with Sandy blonde hair in your typical Backstreet Boy haircut. His attire is a black and white tactical jumpsuit that he wears a bomber jacket over and military boots. His weapon of choice is a broadsword. Paragon units are strong and durable, but still have limits. His design is still that of a human, and thus bound by similar design flaws. Also, one easy way to short circuit a unit is put it in a morally questionable situation, like it would have to kill innocents to save more innocents. Obviously, the computer needs debugging, but remember... It was going to ban guys night. Besides which, civilization that created him died out millenia ago... Due to mass alcohol poisioning.
Just a bunch of silly ideas for creatures and people for my book. Obviously, some are older and more sell thought out than others. Glamazons... If I'm being honest, is a pretty recent idea, I heard the name and almost instantly started thinking how I could implement it. But, still, it seems like a rad idea.

Ryxor have remained unchanged in the years since I first thought of the idea after reading the Fire Within (terrible series, ignore at all costs). I wanted to mention a couple of characters I had in mind for it, like Pr. Razorwing or XDragon, two characters who have been around in my imagination since I was a tot, but I didn't want to give too much unnecessary info.

Paragon is, obviously, a jab at all the rogue AI bs we always see, so I flipped it on its head, and honestly... This might be the most Adamsian thing I ever wrote. I swear I could hear Stephen Fry narrating as I typed this. Also, but of inspiration from the Nostalgia Critic, I made sure to get across just how monumental programming AI to think and feel and know good and bad was.

All characters belong to moi.

Not gonna lie, I could totally see the Glamazons in Gravity Falls.
