Villain Concept: Cyber Titan

They rushed Olivarres to the ER as soon as possible, though some were tempted to leave him where he was. He nearly destroyed the town over a petty grudge. 

The doctors couldn't do much, he was barely breathing, and the explosion had super heated the suit to the point where it fused with his skin, making removal nigh impossible. They just attached him to life support best as they could until they could decide what to do with the smoldering vegetable. 

"Alright, Dominic" said Castle as soon as she got back to interrogation, "Perhaps it's time you explain to us what the hell just happened."

"Whatever, Agent Lady." said Dom, nonchalantly, "Must have been '92 or '93, me and some other College freshman were abducted by an alien titan. He was catatonic, but had ESP, and told us that we needed to defeat his giant brethren to save our world. There were six of us. You've met Tim, there was also me, Holly G-" Castle's comms device started beeping.

"This is Castle." she said, turning on the ear piece, "I'll be there immediately! Dominic, looks like you'll have to explain on the way. Let's go."

He continued his explanation along the carride, He explained how he and Tim were once "Cosmic Rangers", mech pilots with superhuman abilities who fought alien gods. They could form Cosmic Titan, a powerful mech piloted by six people for each part (head, torso, arms legs, and sword). But, there was a lot of drama between the pilots. Tim had a big ego, and Dom loved picking on him. This led to the team breaking up after Tim was committed to a mental institution. Apparently, the crazy broke out and stole the abandoned mechs to form the upgraded Titan, Cyber Titan.

"We're lucky he was by himself. Nobody could operate one of those things on their own. The cyber titan is particularly hard to knock down, since the bastard's self repairing. Nanobots, or some such nonsense." finished Dominic as they entered the hospital. 

They walked into a horrible sight. Agents were being thrown left and right as they tried to restrain the allegedly catatonic Olivarres. His IV and heart monitor were still dragging behind him. He seemed to be hobbling like a zombie, his arms dangling at his side when they weren't chucking guards out of the way.

"Holy shit... he's alive!" exclaimed Dominic. 

His voice seemed to cause a reaction from Olivarres who turned toward him and Castle. Dom and Castle gasped at what they saw. Tim's eyes looked more like a circuit board of electric blue lights, leading to glowing pupils. They stared unblinking at Dominic for a solid minute before a connection was made.

"G-goodspeed..." mumbled Tim, his voice sounding synthetic, almost autotuned, "Kill... Goodspeed.". Then, with next to no effort, he hurled a table at them.

"What they hell! I thought he was brain dead!" shouted Dominic as he deflected the table with his own awesome strength. 

"The nanobots must have thought his body was part of the machine, and fixed it... sort of." said Castle. 

"That shouldn't be possible, they need raw materials to do that! It's why we always hid Cyber in a scrap yard!" said Dominic, who then ran with his fist balled at the cyborg. He knew one punch could knock the poor guy's head off, but at this point, it was a mercy kill.

Instead, however, Olivarres caught the fist and threw Dominic against a wall. 

"Ow..." he said, sliding down.

Olivarres then grabbed shock paddles off of a table, and a glowing blue cloud burst from his hands, which quickly converted the paddles into electrified gauntlets.

"Uh... Dominic..." said Castle, "Exactly how well can the nanobots repair the Cyber Titan?"

"I don't know" Dominic groaned, "I've seen them rebuild it from scratch, why?"

"Because I think that that's what's happening..." Castle said, drawing her gun.

BIO: Once part of a power ranger-esque team of super teens, Tim Olivarres was an arrogant snot from a well to do family. This irked the trouble maker of the group, Dominic, who was a rough and tumble sort who had to work for his meals (in spite of a famous, demigod ancestor). Thus began a long running rivalry between the two which culminated in the team breaking up. Dominic became a merc who used his old mech as a space ship, and Tim was committed after a nervous break down. However, years of therapy did not get rid of his hatred for Dominic, so, after breaking out of the hospital he was kept in, he snuck into the scrap yard where they hid their most powerful weapon, the Cyber Titan, and used it to attack Dominic. However, his rustiness with the controls and the fact that the titan was meant for six people to pilot, led to a catastrophic meltdown, and Tim's electrocution. It not only fried his brain, but also welded the nano suit onto his body. But, as fortune would have it, a number of nanobots were also transfered into his body, and began reconstruction, starting with the brain. Unfortunately, due to the nanobots limited AI abilities, the result was a mindless abomination that was a combination of the Cyber Titan's automated defense systems and Tim's final thought: Kill Dominic. Imbued with the ability to re-purpose nearly any object into a piece for a new mech, Olivarres has become an endless cycle of building up a new mech, having it destroyed, and rebuilding it again. The things he absorbs also give him new abilities, like laptops allow him to access wifi, electrical equipment gives him tesla cannons, and speakers grant him sonic cannons not dissimilar to Anthem's. He also has access to the powers of his fellow rangers, including Dominic's limitless strength. Olivarres's only weakness is magic, as the suit was made to not be able to absorb magical objects, lest they corrupt it. It is unknown if any real part of Olivarres still exists in the mishmash of organic and inorganic that is Cyber Titan. 


Oi vei, sorry for all the exposition, but I've wanted to do this concept for a while, as it is kind of a world builder, and shows that the Masked Wizard and co weren't the first superhero team. 

By the way, anyone guess who Timmy Olivarres is based on? That's right, Mr. Green Ranger himself, Tommy Oliver. Hence why I also think Tommy's actor should play Cyber Titan.
